Curated Event Path

Every event is a story told in chapters — we help you write each one.

“We came to them with a half-formed dream and a date on the calendar. They turned it into the most extraordinary evening our family has ever shared. Not a single moment felt manufactured.” — Fiona & Declan, Lisburn, wedding reception for 140 guests
“Our corporate launch had to feel different from every other hotel conference. Curated Event Path understood that before we even finished explaining.” — R. Harding, Brand Director, Northpoint Ventures

Chapter I — The First Conversation

Before mood boards, before budgets, before venues — there is a conversation. We sit with you (or call, or video-chat from wherever you are) and simply listen. What matters to you? Who are the people this event is for? What feeling should linger after the last guest leaves?

This is not a sales call. We take no deposit at this stage. We believe the right partnership begins with honest alignment, not a signature on a contract.

From a recent client: “They spent ninety minutes on that first call and never once mentioned pricing. That told me everything about their priorities.” — T. Gallagher, charity gala organiser

Chapter II — Mapping the Terrain

Once we understand the soul of your event, we survey the practical landscape. Venue scouting, supplier availability windows, seasonal considerations, guest logistics, accessibility needs, and the budget reality. We present you with a Terrain Report — a concise document that lays out options, trade-offs, and our honest recommendation.

What the Terrain Report includes

Three venue shortlists ranked by atmosphere fit, not just price. A supplier matrix showing who is available and why we trust them. A preliminary timeline with breathing room built in. And a frank note about what your budget can and cannot achieve.

Chapter III — Design & Direction

This is where the event begins to feel real. We develop a Design Direction document: colour palettes, spatial flow diagrams, table arrangement philosophy, lighting mood notes, and sensory details (scent, sound, texture). For corporate events, this includes brand integration guidelines and attendee journey mapping.

We do not hand you a Pinterest board and call it a plan. Every design choice connects back to the feeling we agreed upon in Chapter I.

Proof point: For a 2024 product launch in Belfast, our spatial flow redesign increased attendee dwell time at key brand stations by roughly a third compared to the client's previous event format.

Chapter IV — The Build

Vendor contracts, production schedules, rehearsal timelines, contingency plans. This is the chapter most people never see — and it is where the quality of an event planner is truly tested. We manage every moving part so you do not have to.

Our build phase includes weekly progress updates (or daily, as the date approaches), a shared timeline dashboard, and a dedicated point of contact who knows your event inside-out.

Chapter V — The Day Itself

On the day, we arrive before anyone else and leave after the last light is switched off. Our on-site team manages logistics, vendor coordination, guest flow, and the hundred small adjustments that keep an event feeling effortless. You will not see us rushing. You will not hear us on radios. You will simply notice that everything works.

From a bride: “I kept waiting for something to go wrong. Nothing did. Later I found out the caterer's van broke down and they had a replacement there within twenty minutes. I never knew.” — Aoife M., Derry

Chapter VI — The Afterword

After the event, we send you a wrap-up package: professional photos organised by timeline, a vendor feedback summary, a budget reconciliation showing exactly where every pound went, and a personal note from our lead planner. Because the story deserves a proper ending.

“Planning an event is not project management with flowers. It is the art of making a room full of people feel something together.” — The philosophy behind Curated Event Path

Your Event Deserves More Than Templates

We have planned 73 events across Northern Ireland since we opened our doors. Not one of them looked like another. Because not one of our clients is the same person with the same story.

Frequently Wondered

Do you only work in Northern Ireland?

Our home base is Northern Ireland, and most of our events happen here. We have occasionally travelled to the Republic and to Scotland for the right project. If you are elsewhere, ask — we will be honest about whether we can serve you well.

Can we hire you for just one chapter?

Absolutely. Some clients only need Day-Of Coordination (Chapter V). Others want the full journey. The Route Map above gives you a sense of typical combinations, but we tailor to your needs.

What if our budget is below your starting figures?

Talk to us anyway. We have occasionally structured smaller advisory packages or pointed people to trusted colleagues who specialise in tighter budgets. We would rather help you find the right fit than leave you without guidance.

How do payments work?

A booking deposit (typically 30%) secures your date. The remainder is split into scheduled instalments tied to project milestones, never a lump sum before the event. Full transparency, always.
